About GBSA
All about us
The George Bray Sports Association was founded by Mr George Bray in 1968. The organization was developed to allow children and youth with learning, emotional and/or social disabilities the opportunity to play Canada’s game of hockey in a structured league.
At GBSA, the focus is on FUN not competition! Each player receives equal ice time regardless of their ability. Here at George Bray, we teach more than just hockey, we teach Life Skills. We emphasize Teamwork, Compassion, Kindness and Problem Solving techniques that stay with the player throughout their lifetime.
All games played in London at Kinsmen Arena.
Our Volunteers
The George Bray Sports Association is run entirely by the most amazing volunteers. Our Executive board is made up of parents, coaches and community members who have a drive to help teach, guide and encourage our players to be the best they can be.
Each coach, on ice skater, time keeper or equipment room volunteer dedicates their time to our players, their hockey development and overall self improvement.
